01. Two of Us - Destino ~Unless we Meet~

In the middle of a stormy night Archduke Montague invades the Capulet palace and murders the Capulet family. A two year old Juliet witnesses her father's murder and spotting them the Archduke orders his men to kill her and Cordelia; her guardian. Before they can be killed they are rescued by Conrad; the captain of the guards; and escape.

Fourteen years later poverty has ruled over the people of Neo-Verona and the nobles do as they please. Montague rules over the city and his soldiers carry his will without mercy or reason. On a small courtyard a girl is being accused of being the surviving daughter of the Capulets, but before the soldiers can take her away the mysterious hero; the Red Whirlwind; stops the soldiers and leads them in a wild chase in the streets. Drawned into a corner he falls when a broken bridge crumbles, but is rescued by Romeo and Sierro, his Ryouma (flying horse). Later on the red whirlwind is revealed to be a boy called Odin, who isn't' a boy at all, but Juliet in disguise. Juliet now on the verge of sixteen resides in William's (a noble and playwright) home where she lives as a boy.

That night, Emilia; Williams leading lady; drags 'Odin' to her dressing room and makes 'him' dress up as a girl since she's going into a noble's ball and doesn't want to go alone. Juliet gets to dress as a girl for the first time in probably years gets dragged to the ball where she's enchanted by the atmosphere. But something spooks her when she sees the Archduke Montague and runs away to the fountain in the garden. Kneeling by the fountain she picks and Iris flower floating on the water; a voice behind her asks 'are you alright'; Juliet turns and meets Romeo for the first time.
