03. The Dawn of Love - Attrazione ~Cruel Mischief~
Conrad gives Juliet a sword with the Capulet emblem on it, and Juliet warily takes it. But the news and discovery of who she is and what happened to her family is too much for her to bear and she faints in the rain.
The day after Juliet is still too distraught by the news and doesn't come out of her room for the whole day missing her date with Romeo on the Iris field. Romeo waited for her until it was dark and by doing so arrives late at a party his father was holding; he apologizes for his lateness, and his father without saying anything walks toward him and slaps him. Romeo remains quite later on telling Benvolio it was his fault. Later in the evening Montague heads down a hall alone where he has a brief exchange with Mercutio, telling him that he wants to be kept up to date of Romeo's comings and goings. Afterwards he approaches a door that has both the Capulet and Montague emblems on it; behind the door is Escalus; a giant green glowing tree.
Back in town Lancelot the town doctor is giving out food to the townspeople in the name of the Red whirlwind and is arrested because of it. Meanwhile Romeo pays a visit to his mother, Portia who had left the Montague family. Portia is happy to see her son, but expresses regret at having had to leave him behind with his father. Romeo reassures her that everything is fine and leaves. Back in town antonio tells Juliet that Lancelot was arrested and she comes out of her room and goes as the Red Whirlwind to save him. After infiltrating the prison Juliet and Lancelot manage to run away to the roof where they are surrounded by the prison guards, the situation seems hopeless when suddenly Romeo appears and once he discovers what the situation is he takes a sword in hand and attacks. His attack is just a rouse to let the Red Whirlwind know that he's going to help them escape and with a quick warning grabs the Red Whirlwind's arm who grabs Lancelot and all three of them fall down to the river below. Once on dry ground Lancelot proclaims amazement that Romeo has helped them, unknowingly revealing his identity as Montague's son to Juliet.
