09. "Uprising" The Crossroads ~Severing the Confusion~
A depressed Romeo lingers around the castle, wondering who was the man holding Juliet and why does it hurt so much to have seen that. On the other side, Juliet is about to cut her hair with her sword in a wish to be stronger, but Cordelia stops her. When Juliet leaves leaves, Cordelia muses on how Juliet never cut her hair even when Conrad had asked her to do so for years.
Conrad's old friend Camio approaches they're hide out and mets with an enthusiastic Conrad and what's left on the Capulet people. Camio is a noble that didn't' loose his rank fourteen years ago, he promises Conrad to do his best into getting more nobles to side with them. Juliet arrives at the hide out, looking determined and cheers the group on into overtaking Montague.
At the keep, a saddened Hermione wonders who is the person Romeo loves. Romeo stands in a gazette at the middle of the lake, reading until Mercutio approaches him commenting about Romeo's set place as the duke's son, and how he dislikes the place set for him by his own father. Romeo walks away until he's stopped by some children that tell him there are weird leaves floating on the lake. Without thinking Romeo steps inside the lake to pick one of the leaves when his father spots him. When Romeo tells him about the leaves Montague reacts, but quickly tells Romeo to ignore such rubbish. Later he goes to the secret chamber underground where Escalus is. There he asks Ophelia if she intends to reveal to the world the existence of Escalus by letting its leaves flow to the outside. Ophelia tells him its the Goddesses will and that Escalus; like a person; needs love to live and that Montague whom has lived only for gold and power would not understand.
In a dark bar, Camio meets Aburan (the assassin that was sent after Benvolio's family) and reveals to him the Capulet's hide out. Juliet return home to find out that William has known all along who she was and feels inspire to write a story based on her love. Meanwhile Conrad is plotting on attacking Montague that night based on information Camio gave him and Juliet agreed to go forth with the plan. Francisco doesn't trust Camio like Conrad does and searches for Tybalt. That night Montague does indeed head out with Ophelia, but while Juliet and everyone are waiting to move forward at their hideout Francisco sees that are being surrounded. He barely has time to warn the group before they are ambushed with smoke and fire arrows. Realizing it will be extremely difficult to escape they make their priority to get Juliet out, but as chaos ensues Juliet ends up stabbing one of the guards on the shoulder and freezes when she sees her sword covered in blood. Francisco steps in quickly and leads her out to a secret passage that leads underground. He tells Juliet that Tybalt is waiting there and that he will lead her to a safe place.
Meanwhile at an unknown place Ophelia shows Montague Escalus roots and tells her the twin trees have stopped beating.
